It's an 8x2*6 chassis with a heavy Fassi crane mounted behind the cab.
With this Scania the Fassi 1500 was installed at the front, the 2nd Fassi 1500 in their fleet on a Volvo has got the crane mounted more to the rear. The crane is not mounted entirely to the front, but has got some distance to the outriggers. This gives a better stabilty. This installation is basically similar to the others, like the one's from LBC, Holzner or 3V.
It is the 8x extending version of the F1500XP crane. Without jib it will reach up to 19,4 meters and can lift 4,465 tonnes there. With the L516 jib it reaches 31,3 meters where it can still lift 1085 kg.
The crane is equiped with 2 sets of heavy outriggers. The front and the rear hold identical units that extend 3x, they are both mounted above the normal truckchassis.
On top of the subframe some toolboxes where mounted. The rest of the equipment hangs on a rack behind the cab.
The crane itself is enough to reach the allowed 32 tons of allowed weight. The truck can't transport any load itself, only by pulling a drawbar trailer.
