| When I visited Ghidini Rok in Brescia in 2007, I mainly was there because of their Effer 170N. This Scania R164G-480 8x4 was a nice catch on the side. |

| It's a rather compact unit that still is equiped with a heavy Effer 1350. The unit was pre-owned by a company in Milan, but wasn't used for very long, then it whent to Ghidini Rok. It is a robust version of the 8x4 chassis with planetary drive on the rear axles aswell as heavy leaf springs. |

| The Effer is a 1350 8S, meaning it extends 8x hydraulically to a length of 19,73 meter where it will lift 4,2 tonnes. It doesn't have the option for a jib, so it will mainly be used for heavy lifting. |

| The driver arrived and started folding the crane together, as he had to go of on a job. The head of the crane holds a block that guides the winchcable. The heavy winch hangs under the main boom. |

| Here it is in it's folded position. At the end of the chassis we see a typical Italian drawbar coupling, so this tractor can also be used with a drawbar trailer. |
