First of all the lowloader-bed is lowered until it lays on the ground. After that the boom of the excavator is raised. The machine stands on the bed on wooden blocks which lay between the bed and the undercarriage. This makes the machine very unstable. Therefore some wooden blocks are being put under the tracks to prevent the machine from tumbling over.
After that the boom is put on the ground. The wooden blocks under the tracks are being removed. The excavator now leans forward so that the wooden blocks under the back of the undercarriage can be removed. |
