Cargotec / Hiab |

At the demo area the 2nd Scania R560 of Chappe & Fontolive, again a 5-axled unit, could be seen. This one was already in service and has got a flat bed. The crane is a Hiab XS1055 EP-6 HiPro. It extends a bit over 16 meter and can lift 4,75 tonnes at that distance. At about 4,5 meters the crane can lift 18 tonnes. The crane is delivered without a jib and mounted on a 5-axled truck, so this company probably does a lot of heavy lifting. |
Beside it stood this MAN TGS 35.480 8x4*4 with a rear mounted Hiab XS544 Hipro that extends 8x and was also equiped with a 4x extending jib. |
A 2nd XS544 Hipro was shown at the stand of Hiab. This one is mounted on a MAN TGS 6x6H, so a 6x4 with the Hydrodrive at the front axle. The crane is an E8, it will extend 8x tot almost 20 meter where it can lift 1,72 tonnes. The flatbed is filled with concrete, so I guess it is only used as counterweight when they are lifting to the front. It can be taken of so the MAN becomes a tractor unit. The truck is owned by the wood company Finn-Est. |

SNM: JMG |
The stand of SNM showed this JMG MC110 Pick & Carry crane with 11 tonnes capacity, it does this with a own weight of 13,7 tonnes. It's driven electrical and fits through most doorways with a width of 1,95 meters and a height of 2 meters. The boom extends to 11 meters of height where it can still lift 6 tonnes. |
Marchetti |
Marchetti showed the same crane as they did at the Bauma, the MTK 35. This is a crane that can lift 35 tonnes at 2,5 meters, at 3 meters it's 29 tonnes. The boom has got telescopic parts and extends to 32 meters. Optional a jib with 8 or 14,5 meters length can be mounted. When installed on a light truckchassis, this crane offers the benefits of normal road usage as it fits within the normal regulations for trucks. With a widht of 2,55 meters and a total weight of 26 tonnes on a 3-axled chassis it doesn't need any permit. It has to be mounted on a light chassis to stay within the weight limits, a chassis like this Volvo FE 6x4 or a MAN TGM 6x4 will do. |

Goldhofer |
Goldhofer presented this STZ-P 8, an 8 axled semi lowloader with pendular axles. The loading floor can be extended for 5,5 meters, the extension sits between the 2nd and 3rd axle. When it is extended the 1st and 2nd axle stay with the gooseneck and the 6 axles at the rear extend with the floor. With permitted axle loads of 13 tonnes and a fifth wheel load of 30 tonnes, this trailer offers a loading capacity of about 107 tonnes. |
Louault |
The constructer Louault showed this interesting semi lowloader. The trailer is extendable and offers several mounting positions for containers with twistlocks. In the flatbed at the rear there are 2 different positions with locks. Near the goose neck is a set of locks and 2 different sets are mounted in the extending part of the trailer. |

IMS: GKS |

Beside the regular industrial rollers the company GKS-Perfekt (Georg Krapm) also demonstrated this machine, a 40 tonnes robot roller. It is remote controlled and is driven by 2 electrical engines on the sides. Ideal for thight locations. |
