Miltra: Fassi / Jekko

At the Fassi / Miltra stand stood this Fassi F1950 crane in the regular version (not long). Unfortunately it wasn't mounted to a vehicle. This is the F1950RA.2.28, meaning it extends 8x hydraulically. It has a maximum capacity of 129 tm and reaches up to 19,4 meters where it will lift 6 tonnes. Maximum load on this crane is 30 tonnes at 4,3 meters. It was delivered without a jib.

At the demonstration area of the fair there was this interesting Fassi, a F1500 of TMM. It was already shown at the Solutrans in 2011, but it is still a very interesting unit. This one also has the 8x extending crane without a jib, this will lift 4,465 tonnes at 19,4 meters. The crane is mounted to an impressive Volvo FH16 8x4 with 700 hp. Underneath the loading box is a fifth wheel, so without the box it can be used as a tractor unit.

The company Miltra, Fassi importer of France is also a dealer of Jekko cranes. There where 2 models on display, this one stood at their stand. This is a SPB109 on a tracked carrier with small swivveling and tilting legs. The boom has a length of 6,1 meter, the crane lifts a maximum of 990 kg with an own weight of 1450 kg.

This one was displayed at the demo area, a Jekko SPX1040 with a tracked carrier and swivveling outriggers. It weighs 5,6 or 6,3 tonnes (depending on the track length and engine) without the ballast, that weighs an additional 650 kg. It lifts up to 4 tonnes at 2 meters. The boom extends up to 14,5 meters, at that height it can lift 1,8 tonnes. At 13 meters horizontal it will lift 0,5 tonnes. There is an optional lattice boom jib of 4,8 or 7,5 meter available, or a hydraulic jib of 2,1 up to 4,1 meters. This crane can also drive while lifting a load, although only with a limited capacity because of the missing outrigger support. The maximum load while driving is 1,5 tonnes.

Terex

The Terex stand showed this new Explorer 5800. It is a crane in the 220 tonnes class that is equiped with the new design cab. The 6x extending boom has a length of 70 meters, with a jib it can be extended up to 102 meters. The uppercarriage can take up to 70,2 tonnes of ballast. The undercarriage is driven at axles 3, 4 and 5 (or optional also on axle 2), all the axles are steered. Driving power is provided by a Scania DSC13 engine that provides 550 hp.

A smaller version is this Terex Challenger 3160, a 3-axled crane with a width of 2,55 meters, which means that is allowed on the highway. The crane is a 55-tonnes class unit and has got a 50 meter boom.
