This Scania R124G-420 8x4 belongs to Van Maanen from Barneveld (NL).

The truck is equiped with an Effer 1150 / 6S, a crane with a lifting capacity of about 92 ton/meter. This crane can extend hydraulicaly 6x to a length of 17 meter. It can than lift 4,6 ton. The 2 manual extensions enlarge it’s outreach to 22 meter. There it still lifts 3,1 tonnes.

From the side it is clearly visible how much space the crane needs. At this Scania we also find the low profile tires on the rear-axles.

This truck also has outriggers mounted to the rear side, as usual with these large cranes.

The truck was coupled to a Nooteboom 4-axled Teletrailer.

To the right side they only mounted a small toolbox. Here a lot of space is needed for the telescopic boom of the crane. The crane has been mounted by Wille from Barneveld. At the back of the chassis they mounted a drawbar coupling so that the tractor can also be used as a normal truck.
