This brandnew Volvo FH12-460 8x4 tractor belongs to P.E. Kristensen from Roskilde (DK).

Here we see the truck after it’s very first working day! Unfortunately this was somewhat later on the day. Because of the sunset not all the pictures are great. By the way, in the background you see a Scania 8x4 truck with an Effer 920.

Behind the cab they mounted a Palfinger PK 100002 F crane with a PJ170 jib.

This Palfinger has a maximum lifting capacity of 83 t/m. The outreach of the standard crane (after extending 7 times) is 17,3 meters, here it still lifts a little more than 4 tonnes. With jib (6x hydraulic + 1 manual extension) the outreach increases to somewhat more than 30 meters. Lifting capacity there is about 1,2 tonnes.

The tractor has got air-suspension on the rear-axles. Here it is coupled to a 3-axled Dapa semi lowloader.

On top of the crane we see a winch, an option that can be seen a lot in Danmark.

Something that can also be seen a lot on crane-trucks in Danmark is the large steel plate that is covering the chassis from the crane untill the rear bumper.
