Volvo FH - Steinar Johansen
This is the Volvo FH of Steinar Johansen Transport AS from Ingeberg near Hamar (N).
The vehicle is equiped with a front outrigger, which allows working in all directions.
It is a Volvo FH in 8x4 layout and a Globetrotter cab. The tandem is equiped with a lift on the 2nd driven axle, an Option that Volvo offers since a couple of years.
The rear of the flatbed can be extended to fit larger loads.
A Pafinger PK92002 F was installed behind the cab, a crane that can lift 3750 kg at 17,8 meters. With the PJ170E jib it can lift 1100 kg at 30,1 meters. With active DPS, the jib can lift a maximum load of 6,5 tons. The crane and body where installed by O.L. Engen.
Here they where lifting a unit on the yard.
The crane is extended 6x here, which leaves about 4,3 tons of capacity.
The unit was loaded onto a parked Scania truck.
A nice crane truck with a good balance between loading- and lifting capacity.
