Volvo FH540 - Iversby Transport
In October 2022 this Volvo was added to the fleet of Iversby Transport As from Råde (N).
It's a Volvo FH540 in 8x2 layout, equiped with the low cab.
A Palfinger PK110002 was installed behind that cab. A plastic dieseltank is installed between the front axles, the rest of the space was filled with toolboxes.
The crane is the G-version, extending 8x to 19,6 meter with 3,75 ton capacity. The PJ170E jib can still lift 1,28 ton at 30 meter.
The body was installed by Vognteknikk AS. The board at the front holds a lot of lifting equipment.
This side of the chassis is mainly filled with the exhaust. All other free space is filled with cabinets.
Here it was configured as a tractor unit. The 5th wheel can be taken off, so that it becomes a flatbed truck. Therefore a flatbed extension has to added to the back of the chassis.
Here the Ad-Blue tank is installed between the 2 front axles. The space below the crane was filled with a large cabinet. A 39 ton outrigger is installed at the front to provide all around stability.
A crane truck in the typicaly cool Norwegian style, also with a very nice livery!
