Volvo F12 - Fraktkedjan
This Volvo F12 of Fraktkedjan was spotted in the north of Sweden in Kiruna.
The first thing to notice is the strange axle configuration, either the 2nd front axle has been moved backwards or it was mounted afterwards.

The next thing to notice is large crane. It is an Herkules crane, originally from Danmark, but later also sold in Sweden. This is a rather heavy unit, it's a V190-12, a crane with a lifting capacity of 90 ton/mtr on the telescopic parts. The special hook, mounted underneath the telescopic boom, can lift 24 tons at 4 meters, which means that at close range it has 96 ton/mtr capacity!

Lifting table of main crane:
24 ton - 4 meter
14,8 ton - 5,6 meter
11,8 ton - 7,6 meter
9 ton - 9,8 meter
6,625 ton - 12 meter

With a jib, the outreach can be increased to 23,6 meters, where it can lift 1,37 tonnes.

At this side it is obvious why the 2nd axle has this strange position, it has to make space for the boom of the crane. These crane fold their telescopic boom upwards, which give them the name Z-cranes (Z shape when folded).
Here a better view of this classic crane, which probably was one of the heaviest units available in those days. Here we also see the heavy hook that is mounted underneath the telescopic boom. Herkules still exists and now builds his cranes in Thailand.
