This is the new crane truck in the fleet of M. Brunner transport from Littau (CH).

It is a Scania R420 8x4 tractor with a middle-long cab.

The crane is a Fassi F800BXP.26 with a L516 jib, a crane with a lifting capacity of 66,5 ton/meter. Both extend 6 times hydraulically, the jib can be equiped with 2 more manual extensions. The BXP model is the new version of the 800 that has been improved on many points.

The outreach of the standard crane is 16,15 meter. There it still lifts 3,6 tons. The jib extends the outreach to 28,1 meter. There the lifting capactity is 850 kg. The manual extenions reach to 31,75 meter and can lift 550 kg at that distance.

Here the crane was being demonstrated. Clearly visible is the negative angle that the jib has to them main crane. This is helpfull at cramped locations.

The chassis is designed to also take on a ballast box. With the coupling at the rear of the chassis the truck can then be used with a drawbar trailer.

A 2 ton winch has been installed on the crane.
