New truck with crane in the fleet of JM Maskintransport from Hvidovre/Kopenhagen (DK) (now Kruse Maskin) is this Scania R164G-580 8x4 with Fassi F800XP + jib.

The Fassi is rear-mounted so that the truck serves as ballast during the lifting of heavy machines. Because of this, the crane can lift very close to the back of the truck and install machines of about 20 tonnes. The crane has been placed above, and not behind, the rear axle in order to get a good weight distribution. The truck is completely air-suspended.

The crane is a Fassi F800AXP.26 with a L414 jib. This crane has a normal reach of about 16 meters. With the jib this increases to almost 26 meters. There it lifts 1315 kg. The lifting capacity of this crane is 66,5 ton/mtr.

The oil- and dieseltank are placed between the cab and the floor because of a lack of space. Between the axles they mounted large toolboxes.
