At the Effer stand of the Lastbil 2008 stood this Scania R420 of Henrikssons Kranbilar AB.

An Effer 1550 in 8S version is mounted behind the cab, a crane with an outreach of 19,91 meter at which it can lift 4,28 tonnes. The maximum lifting capacity is 107 ton/mtr. With the 6x hydraulically extending jib, the crane can reach 32,45 meters where it still lifts 1030 kg. The last 3 to 3,5 meter are given by 2 manual extensions in the jib.

The truck has been built by BJ Karross. According to their figures, this truck weighs about 27 tonnes, which means a really low weight for crane of this size.

The Scania R420 8x4 was shown here as a flatbed, but it can also be used as a tractor. Therefore the rear part of the flatbed floor can be demounted. That is the part to the left of the cut that can be seen on the right side in this picture. This part is mounted with Laxo connections. These connections are then used to connect the plate with the fith wheel to (which is lying on the loading floor here).

The floor has been equiped with the typical boat-supports. It can also be extended to the rear.
