This Scania R143E-500 8x4 belongs to Bøgesvang Krantransport from Lunderskov (DK).

An Effer 88N-6S is mounted behind the cab, a 6x hydraulically extending crane with a lifting capacity of 80 ton/mtr.

The crane is equiped with a 4x extending jib. At the rear of the chassis they mounted a drawbar coupling, this way the tractor can also pull drawbartrailers.

Typical for danish truck, the big steel covers all over the chassis and the tyres.

Scania R143M-420 6x4 - Herkules MT 36

Another crane truck of Bøgesvang is this Scania R143M-420 6x4 tractor.

A Herkules MT 36 is mounted behind the cab. This crane has a capacity of about 36 ton/mtr.

Here we have a better view on the crane. Especially remarkable is the way that the crane folds together and the position of the winch on the telescopic boom.

The Herkules brand still exists, they are build in Thailand. This is their official website, nowadays they produce truck-cranes up to 150 ton/mtr.
