The truck is equiped with a Palfinger PK 66000, a crane with a lifting capacity of about 62 ton/m. With a Jib it can reach up to 30 meters. The crane has 6 outriggers all around the truck.
The special feature of this truck is the axle layout. The truck has been delivered by Scania as a standard 4x4. After delivery it went to Laxa who mounted a additional, non driven, front axle. This axle is needed because of the heavy crane.
Here it is displayed as a truck, by demounting the loading box it can also be used as a tractor.
