Last summer Paule heavy transport came to P+W Metallbau in Meckenbeuren(D) with this Mercedes and Scheuerle vessel deck to collect a aluminium storage tank.

The tractor is a 8x4 Mercedes SK 3544 with WSK. It is equiped with the raised roof, called Eurocab.

The tractor is somewhat older, what can be seen at the tower. The newer SKs have another layout.

The vessel deck has already been extended to the needed length by using extension parts. The deck is hydraulic adjustable in width and height. The rear side supports on a 4-axled Scheuerle dolly.

Later that day is was loaded and waiting for the police escort to arrive.

Here we see that the width of the deck has been adjusted to the size of the tank.

Here the transport started at about 20:30. At the steps at the back of the dolly there is a 2nd driver that steers the dolly by hand until they reach the highway.
