The replacer of the Mercedes SK 4153 8x6 of Feldmann from Bilten (CH) is this Actros 4165. Here it stands in the building with a 2-bed-5 Goldhofer lowloader.

It is the version with 650 hp and 8x6 drive. The 650 hp are generated by a 15,9 liter V8 engine. The front has got the heavy bumper, so that it can also push transports.

Most of these trucks are converted by Titan. The base is a 6x6 unit that gets a additional steering axle. Also the driveline is modified by adding the Voith VIAB coupling between the engine and gearbox. The driven front axle makes the truck higher, so there isn't room for the larger Megaspace cab.

The chassis has got a cardanic fifth wheel on it, in the swiss mountains that is not a luxury. The rear of the chassis has no coupling, so it isn's meant for pulling duties.

In the top of the tower we see the large cooler, giving a lot of extra capacity for slow driving with full load.
