Mercedes Actros 4165 - Biedenbach
This Mercedes Actros 4165 belongs to the company Walter Biedenbach GmbH from Leipheim (D).
It pulls a 7-axled Goldhofer semi lowloader that is used to transport the company's WABI-K150 Indoorcrane, a report about that crane can be seen here.

The tractor is an 8x4, the last 2 axles are driven. Since the introduction of the Voith VIAB, combined with the Mercedes automated gearbox, these trucks can also be equiped with the high Megaspace cab. The flaps behind the cab are also suited for this high cab.

Behind the cab stands the heavy haulage tower, at the left we see the oiltank for the hydraulics of the cooler and the trailer. The rear of the chassis holds a coupling for a drawbar trailer.

The 7-axled Goldhofer has got ramps that are used to (un)load the crane. The lowloader was a 6-axled unit, but for the transport of this 63,5 ton weighing crane it has gotten an extra axle (the 3rd one).

As the Greiner has problems driving up these steep ramps, a winch is used to get it on the trailer.

Here we see the winch in the goose neck of the trailer. The crane's boom is layed down on this pile of wood.

A better view on the tower, to the left we see some air barrels and the battery compartment. Below we see the large dieseltank and above it stands the large additional cooler.
