This MAN TG-A in 8x6 layout belongs to Brugger Transporte from Ötz (A).

An Effer 1050 is mounted behind the cab. It is a crane with a lifting capacity of 86 ton/mtr. It extends 8x hydraulically to a length of 20 meters. The 4x hydraulically extending jib reaches 30,5 meters, with the 2 manual extentions a total outreach of 35 meter is archieved.

This image shows how compact the chassis is. An 8x6 is a good alternativ for an 8x8 when it comes to manoeuvrability and terrain capabilities. This truck has been equiped with 6 support legs, 2 at the back, 2 at the crane and 2 at the front. The chassis between the crane and the front support legs is complety reinforced so that the crane also has a high lifting capacity to the front.

The loading box and the crane have been built/mounted by Marte Fahrzeugbau. The outriggers at the back have been placed further to the rear so that the crane has good stability in this direction. They have mounted hinged legs here to avoid that the inclination angle at the rear gets to small.
