At a local Ivece dealer stood this special Astra 320 E42 of the Royal danish airforce. It is an 8x8 chassis with single off-road tires on all the axles.

The truck has become, by mounting a Cormach 156000 at the middle of floor, a riding crane. It doesn’t have any loading capacity anymore. A heavy winch is mounted to the crane. Another one is mounted at the chassis, just behind the big oiltank.

A Cormach 156000 E4 (4x hydraulic extending) has a maximum lifting capacity of 122 ton/mtr. This crane doesn’t fold together completely and therefore stays in this position during road transport.

This lifting table is valid when the crane is working to one of the sides of the truck. When it is working to the rear it is limited somewhat to garanty the stability of the vehicle.

At this side of the vehicle they store a special manual part and a spreader.
