During one of my trips in Holland I also came to the village Elsendorp. Here the company Haegens can be found. When I came there this new and very good looking Ginaf was at home.

It is a Ginaf X 4241-S with the DAF 12,6 liter engine with 430 hp. The tractor is a 8x4 with a allowed vehicle weight of 41 tonnes (2 x 11,5 ton on the rear-axles and 2 x 9 ton on the front axles).

Behind the cab a heavy Hiab crane is mounted. It is a Hiab XS 800E-9 with a maximum lifting capacity of 70 t/m. This crane can extend upto 9 times, it then reaches 22,2 meter and still lifts 2,4 ton there.

The truck is equiped with the standard outriggers and also 2 at the back of the chassis. If a load has to be lifted over the cab, then the truck is equiped with a ballastbox on the fifth wheel.

The space between the cab and the crane is filled with a tower with storage compartments. The rear axle of this truck is hydraulically steered and both rear axles have a hydro-pneumatic suspension.
