This is a DAF CF 85.430 8x4 from the fleet of P. Van Egdom from Heist op den Berg (B).

It is a tractor that is equiped with a Cormach 125000 crane.

Side view, the thing that cathes the eye is the size of the base of the crane. The crane uses about 2,5 mtr of the vehicle length.

The crane is a 125000-E9, this means that the boom extends 9x hydraulically. A winch and jib where not delivered.

The crane stands on 4 supports. The front 2 are mounted at the crane, the other 2 are mounted at the rear side of the chassis.

The crane is deliverd by the Belgium Cormach dealer Hydromach.

The crane has maximum static lifting capacity of 125 ton/mtr. It has a hydraulic outreach of 18,93 meters and can lift 4,55 tonnes at that distance. At, for example, 17 meter hook-height and 7 meter outreach a load of 11,5 tonnes can be lifted.

The required space for the front outriggers is minimal as they are mounted on top of eachother. The oiltank and the oilcooler are mounted above the outriggers. The Cormach design is typical, a double main boom and the telescopic boom inbetween. This design reduces the torsion on the crane.
