DAF 95 XF 430 - P. van Egdom - 2

The Effer 2200 is seen here lifting some prefab concrete parts in a belgium village called Duffel.

At the side of the building the support legs are extended all the way, at the right rear side this is not necessary. At the swing outrigger at the right front they put 2 counterweights of 5 tons each so that the crane is stable when it’s lifting far away.

The crane driver is standing on the building using the remote control, this way he can stay close to the load.

This is the complete combination at the yard of Van Egdom. This time the jib and the counterweights are loaded on the drawbar trailer.

Here the crane was used on the yard to lift a concrete part.

A lot of height is required to unfold the crane. This height can be reduced a little by sliding the telescopic boom backwards, something that is possible with the CL version of the 2200. By sliding it backwards it is also possible to lift very near to the crane itself.

The concrete beam was lifted together with a Cormach 88000.

Last picture is one of the drawbar trailer with it’s load. The jib has an own winch that is visible here. It is tilted to the side here.
