Transport.ch - 2011 - 3

At the stand of Hodel (Effer importer) stood this Scania R480 10x4 of Meyer Kran + Transport GmbH from Biberstein (CH).

The Scania has got a Effer 1355 with the Crossstab outriggers mounted behind the cab. These outriggers that extend sideways to the front, provide the crane with a all-around stability, also to the front. The crane is a 8S, meaning it extends 8x hydraulically to 19,65 meter with 4,08 ton capacity, and is equiped with the 6S Heavy Duty jib. This jib lifts a maximum of 5,87 tons and gives a total outreach of nearly 32 meters. An option is the 2nd jib that can be mounted by Hodel, it gives an outreach of about 38,3 meters and reaches up to about 42,5 meter heigh.

As the Swiss regulation allows this truck to have 40 tons total weight (5-axled trucks), this unit can still a good load on it's flatbed.

The view in the other direction from the balcony gave a good sight on this set-up, it could be seen at the MAN stand.

It is the new MAN TGS 41.540 8x4 of the company Flück from Zürich.

Hodel mounted an Effer 1355 on it, this time the version with regular outriggers.

The crane is a 1355 9S, this one extends 9x hydraulically and reaches 22,04 meter with a capacity of 3,35 ton. The 6S jib gives a total outreach of 35 meter with a capacity of 880 kg. Optional you can also get a 2nd jib on this crane, the outreach would be 42 where it can lift 300 kg. The lifting heigt goes up to about 45 meter, the tilting height of the 2nd jib is around 37 to 39 meter.

This MAN realy stole the show as the Effer was lifting a MAN TGS 18.360 with a containersystem!
