Solutrans 2011 - 3
Tatra
At the Solutrans I saw my first Tatra Phoenix. This new Tatra series shares some components from DAF, under which the cab and the engine. This is the 6x6 version, which has a remarkable low chassis for an all-wheel drive truck.

Scheuerle-Nicolas

At the shared stand of Scheuerle, Kamag & Nicolas stood this plaftform trailer. It is called the Superflex, it is extendable and the novity is that the front wheel set can be placed either at the front of the extention or at the rear.

Mercedes / Unimog

Unimog's are always a nice catch, but like this with a lot of snow equipment it's really good. The realy interesting feature on this right hand drive unit is the rear axle steering. This is not standard and was converted by a local company in France.

Brevet

The company Brevet is specialized in the conversion of cabs (for example for fire fighting). Here we see a conversion on a Astra 84.48 that makes it ROPS and FOPS proof. Which means it is a safe vehicle in case it rolls over (Roll Over Protection System) or when something heavy falls on top (Falling Objects Protection System).

Louault

At the stand of the french trailer constructer Louault there where 2 semi lowloaders on display.

Tecnokar

At an outdoor area this mobile testbench could be seen, it's mounted on a Tecnokar lowloader.

ACTM
ACTM had this set of trailers on display. The 3-axled semi lowloader carries a typical french mid-axled drawbar lowloader.

Trayl-Ona

The spanish constructer Trayl-Ona showed this 3-axled extendable and steered flatbed trailer.

AMC Castera

Also spanish is AMC Castera, they showed a 3-axled semi and also a 3-axled midaxle drawbar lowloader.

Faymonville / ALS
The stand of ALS Remorques showed this Faymonville semi.

Hammar
The swedish company Hammar had this interesting side-loader on display.

Fliegl
And at the Fliegl stand stood this lowloader with liftable floor.
