Samoter 2014 - Cranes
Grove showed this off-road crane, the RT 550E.

This interesting EuroGru crane was also at the exhibition, it's owned by Fernando Marta from the Milan area and is mounted on a Iveco EuroTrakker 410E42 8x4. Although the 90 tonnes crane is interesting, it was showed because of the new jib. It is made of carbon and therefore very light. Unfortunately I don't know who builds it.

Ormig displayed 3 crane, this is the lightest. It's the 5,5 tmE, a complete electrical crane that can lift up to 5,5 ton. Ormig cranes have got a steering rear axle and no outriggers, the can drive with the load on the hook.

This is the heavier version, also electrical. It's the 16 tmE, that can lift up to 16 tons.

And this is the heaviest crane here, the 45 t.m. It is driven by a diesel engine and can lift 45 tonnes, it can also drive with that load. These kind of cranes are very handy for moving machinery into tight places.

Locatelli showed 2 off-road cranes. The upper crane is the Grill 8500T, the lower is the somewhat heavier Grill 8500TL. The first lifts up to 45 tons, the 2nd can lift up to 50 tons.

These 2 off-road cranes could be seen at Terex. The upper is the Quadstar 1075L, the lower is the new Quadstar 1060. The first can lift 75 tons, the 2nd can do 60 tons.

And Hinowa showed this mini crane on tracks. The carriage is built by Hinowa, the crane is a Maxilift 200.3 that extends 3 times.
