They also showed this demountable crane. It's a PK42002-SH in G version, meaning 8x extending. That gives the crane an outreach of 20,8 meter where it can lift 1,18 tonnes. With 2 manual parts that gets 25 meters. It doesn't have a jib.
The crane is mounted a demountable subframe that has got a fifth wheel mounted onto it, so the unit can be used as a tractor. This frame is mounted to the truck with the cylinders that you see at the side.
The matching tractor came onto the yard...
...and parked underneath the crane. It's an MAN TGS 6x6 of the company Fohringer from Hopfgarten.
From the Betriebsfeuerwehr (company fire department) Sandoz from Kundl this Scania P serie was shown. It is equiped with a Palfinger PK23002 in the E version. This extends 6x to 16,7 meters of length. It can be used as a boom for the hose, as is demonstrated here.
Furtermore the truck has got an Empl body with a loading ramp. This body holds utilities like the man-basket.
The top of the crane has got a special movable spraying head. The waterhose runs through rings that are mounted to the side of the boom.
Palfinger also own the Epsilon brand, they make forest cranes. Here we see an Epsilon M110Z on a MAN TGS 6x4 from Hauser.
