The 2nd vehicle of Voser at the open day of Hodel Betriebe is this Volvo FH 8x4.

It is an 8x4 tractor with an Effer 850 8S mounted directly behind the cab. If you look closer you can see that a smal part of the roof has been cut out so that the crane can be mounted this close to the cab.

The frame has been kept very low. The fifth wheel and the mudguards can be demounted so that a loading box can be mounted. This box has a loading height of 1,10 meters. The high fifth wheel is necessary to be compatible with specific trailers in the fleet. A box for the hook has been mounted behind the rear outriggers.

The crane gives, with a 6S jib, an outreach of about 34 meters. At the rear of the chassis they also mounted a drawbar coupling so that it can be used with a drawbar trailer when using the loading box. The empty weight of this Volvo is about 24 tonnes without and 26 tonnes with the loading box.
