Sawo is the danish importer of Hiab and a builder of recovery units

This very nice Scania R580 8x4 belongs to Nordjysk Kran & Specialtransport from Hjallerup.

It is equiped with a Hiab XS800E-6 that extends hydraulically to 15,7 meters where it still lifts 4,1 tons. The jib extends 5x and increases the outreach to 27 meter.

The Scania is equiped with a fifth wheel and can be used as a tractor. When it is used as a normal truck, the floor can be extended.

As this truck is used a lot to transport large mobile homes, they mounted an extra set of mirrors than can be adjusted to a greater width.

The second Hiab 800 was mounted on Volvo FM480 8x4 of Hugo Rasmussen from Slagelse.

It’s the same crane as used on the Scania, so 6x and 5x telescoping. Also the concept of the tractor and extendable floor are used here.

This Volvo had a 5th outrigger at the front.

This Volvo FH16-660 8x4 of the Kim Johansen transport group is equiped with a Sawo recovery unit.
