The Daimler stand showed this new Zetros 3343 AS 6x6.

It was shown here as a 6x6 tractor unit. This Zetros now has gotten a heavier engine. It's the OM457 6-cylinder that was used in the Axor series. It delivers 428 hp and 2100 Nm torque, this gives the Zetros more power for heavier loads.

This Zetros has got the standard cab installed. Behind it are 2 spare wheels.

The big tyres (14.00 R20) give the Zetros good offroad capabilities. The double tyres at the rear make the truck wider than the normally allowed 2,5 meters.

The tractor was shown here with a cardanic fifth wheel of Jost.

Both sides hold large dieseltanks that are mounted high for ground clearance, a total of 1000 liter is carried.

The larger engine didn't just fit in the basic Zetros, a bit more space was needed. It can be seen here that the bonnet stand further to the front and the gap has been filled with a extension. The air inlet has been pulled up high along the cab, this avoids getting dust and water into the inlet.

Beside it stood this Zetros Zetros 1833 4x4 GTF. This is the Zetros with the regular engine that produces 320 hp. |

This model is equiped with an armoured cab.
