Brennero Gru displayed this interesting MAN TGX 35.840 8x4 with a very short wheelbase and a triple rear axle unit. A Bonfiglioli P80000G is mounted behind the cab. It is a 6x extending crane with an outreach of 13,4 meter where it can lift a load of 4,6 ton.
BSM
BSM is a dealer of Hitachi machinery, but also delivers Astra trucks. Their stand displayed this interesting Astra 84.50, an 8x4 chassis. The last axle of the tandem is hydraulically liftable. If they also modified the differentials (cutting of drive to the rear axle) I do not know.
Fassi
At the Fassi stand stood this very good looking recovery truck! It is a Scania R500 8x4 of the company Lazzaroni that has been equiped with a Botti Srl body and a Fassi F800BXP.28 crane. This crane reaches up to 20,45 meters where it lifts up to 2,5 tonnes. The Botti unit consists of a tiltable and slideable plateau and a lifting arm that was mounted at the rear underneath the chassis. Especially the mounting of this 4x extending arm under the cranes support frame and rear outriggers is a nice piece of work. Unfortunately I don't have any information about the capacities of the recovery unit.
Palfinger
Only this unit was photographable at the Palfinger stand. It is a Palfinger PK100002H on a demountable body. The body is lifted with hydraulic cylinders that are chassis mounted. It rests on the floor with the legs of the crane. It is mounted on a Volvo FM 8x2.
Not on the Palfinger stand, but to nice not to mention :). This is the fine new Iveco Stralis 500 8x2*6 with Palfinger PK74002G of the company Edilgema, they sell and rent towercranes.
