Sivi-Iveco Trakker 500 8x4 |
The company Storti has a larger amount of trucks working in coiltransport. I spotted this Sivi Iveco Trakker 500 with 5-axled Bertoja coiltrailer on the Bergamo-Venice highway, it is running empty here.

Sivi-Iveco 410E52 8x4 |
This is rare Sivi Iveco 410E52 8x4 with a 6-axled Bertoja drawbar trailer. The rare thing is the combination of a EuroStar Iveco with 8x4 drive and the high roof, a combination that was not available back then. It has the classic Iveco V8 with 520 hp.
Here it is loaden and is leaving the loading station.
The trailer has 2 turning tables, one for each front axle. Of the 4 rear axles, the first and the last are steered. The 2 in the middle are rigid.

Scania R620 8x4 |
These Scania's have been added to the fleet recently, they are R620 models with a Highline cab.
The 620 hp of the strong V8 ensure a good acceleration of the weight of more than 100 tonnes.
This one is also connected to a 6-axled Bertoja drawbar trailer. This one is empty, the 3rd and 6th axle are lifted.

Sivi-Iveco 440E47 4x2 |
As I was spotting near the loading station, this Sivi-Iveco 440E47 (470hp) also left the yard.
The tractor is a special version, converted by Sivi and now allowed for a total weight of 120 tonnes. It has a ballast box with a heavy duty drawbar coupling. The box also has a big winch which can be used to pull the wagon onto the trailer.
The 8-axled drawbar trailer is purpose made to transport railway wagons. Unfortunately I don't know the brand, neither do I know the allowed weight.

Sivi-Iveco Trakker 480 8x4 |
At the yard of Storti stood this Iveco Trakker 480.
It is equiped with a Danieli body and a Cramaro curtainsider.
This unit also pulls a 6-axled Bertoja, the same version as the Scania is pulling.
Here it is visible that only the 4th and 5th axle are rigid.
At this side we see the dieseltank, the exhaust and muffler are mounted between the box and the cab.
Here we can see that each front axles has it's own turning table, the steering angles are different.
Sivi-Iveco 440E42 4x2 |
This Sivi-Iveco EuroTech 440E42, also in the heavy 4x2 version, was standing in the hal. It also has a ballast box with a built-in winch.
