Volvo FH540 - Effer 1405
The Effer/Hiab dealer Zink has a big stand at the Bauma. At the front they parked this Effer 1405 on Volvo of Eser Krane.
The chassis is a Volvo FH540 in 8x2 configuration.
The crane is an Effer 1405 9S with 6S Jib. The crane alone can lift 3,42 tons at 22.04 meters. With the 6S Jib it can reach 35 meter with 780 kg.
The flatbed is low and the rear part can be taken off. The front part can get a 5th wheel for maximum flexibility.
There are 3 steering axles on the Volvo for a short turning radius. The complete truck is finished in a stainless steel look.
The front outriggers can support 27 tonnes so that the crane is 360° stable.
Somewhat smaller is this Volvo FMX540 6x4 of Scheffler. This truck also has the 27t outriggers at the front.
Behind the cab stands an Effer 525 in 6S version, able to lift 2,3 tonnes at 16,85 meter.
