Back in the days you often saw a truck mounted excavator, often for use in smaller harbours etc, everywhere where a stationary machine wasn't usefull. Kiesel showed a similar concept, but now the modern version. The KMC 250 Multi Carrier from Kiesel is installed on a Mercedes Arocs 3748. The whole machine is called KMC250 FastTruck. The 25 ton excavator has gotten the Kiesel boom with 3 cylinders and a quick exchange head. Here they installed a crane boom, but different attachments are available.

Volvo had this heavy haulage tractor standing outside. It is equiped with the new I-Shift with extra low crawler gears. This is Volvo's alternative for a torque converter or fluid coupling. The truck was finished by Popp and got a tower with the dieseltank, trailer hydraulics, toolboxes and air barrels.

Galizia had this nive GF450 for Jozef Hermans on display. It's a 45 tons indoor crane. The ballast and the rear axle can be extended further to the rear, thus giving effect. The crane has is driven electrically.

This is th Combilift-SC, where SC stands for Straddle Carrier. These machines are available from 20 to 80 tons. The load is lifted between the 2 towers. These kind of machines are very usefull on yards that can't be covered entirely by a regular overhead crane.

At the Acmar stand this vehicle was on display. The base is an Arocs 3243, but not the raised cab. This modification was done by Brever form France. The vehicle is used for surface dressing. The material for that is pushed out the reverse mounted Fliegl body and into the spreader at the front. The material will travel underneath the raised cab to the front spreader bar.

Zoomlion had this truck mounted crane displayed, the ZTF 600. It is mounted on a 4-axled MAZ chassis. The crane has got a boom of 40,5 meter and can lift up to 60 tons.

A very nice concrete pump could be seen at the stand of Schwing. It is the S65SX with 64,7 meter height. The chassis is an interesting Mack MRU / TerraPro 7-axled version, configured as an 14x4.

Ormig showed several crane, but this is an interesting indoor unit for Santoro. This 55/60iE can lift up to 60 tons. Typical for this type of cranes is the lack of outriggers, the crane can also drive with a load on the hook. At the rear it has got pendular axles for good manoeuvrability.

Allkran-Hellmich showed 2 Scania's with Marchetti cranes. This is the P450 offroad 8x4 with an MTK 60 crane, a 60 tons telescopic crane.
