Some older but still very interesting machines where also on the yard. |
This classic MAN F8 33.365 in 6x6 version is still available for heavy transports. |
The floor is filled with some ballast blocks. Behind the cab stands a heavy winch. |
Above the coupling the winch cable can be seen. |
Here it is connected to a 4-axled drawbar trailer. |
In the bushes stood this old Scammel Pioneer. |
Very interesting is this Fiat 691T in 6x2 layout with double front axle (chinese six). |
Like many of the italian trucks from those days, this one also has the steering wheel at the right side. |
Notice how compact this truck is, ideal for the mountaines surroundings in which Battazza lives. |
Behind the cab stands an Effer E140/50, a 50 T/m crane that folds together completely above the crane foot. |
The crane lifts 20 tons at 2,4 meters and has a maximum outreach of 6,1 meters. With 3 manual extensions the outreach increases to 12 meter where it can lift 2,85 tons. Back in those days this was probable a very heavy crane :) |
At the back of the yard stood this Fiat 180 NC 8x2, it also has right hand drive. |
It also has an Effer E140/50 behind it’s cab. |
Thanks to the company Battazza for letting me photograph their trucks |
